This equipment is designed to work with a mobile phone as the main wirelessly connected motherboard, meaning the guns themselves are brainless, all computing power is done with the very complex and capable modern smart phone. This gives features not normally available on normal laser tag such as using maps, and intercom, but also cutting down on maintenance if the gun has no motherboard it cannot fail. In this system you can talk to the rest of your team through the phone which acts as a intercom and also do things like call in an airstrike. Your phone is worn on a special wristband provided in the kit and becomes your control screen, again something that cannot go wrong on the guns.
